For the walls for the bedroom I had used MDF wood and cut them down to size. I had also cut out holes for where the door and window would be. I used coffee stick stirrers as door frames and window frames.

I had painted the walls purple as a child’s room, and because i wanted to keep the colour scheme of this film on the cool side of the colour wheel – sticking to purples and blues – hence her blue PJs too.

For the door I used foam boards and had painted them brown. For the doorknob I used miliput and formed it on a pin and painted it gold and used a hot glue gun to glue it to the door. As there is a part of the film, a close up scene where the main characters hands almost reach the door knob to escape, however she gets pulled back by the monster.
